Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using Screen Chirp. They govern your access to and use of our platform.

Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Screen Chirp. By accessing or using our website, application, or any associated services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and anyone who accesses or uses the platform in any capacity.

Use of Service

Subject to these terms, Screen Chirp grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the platform for your internal business or personal communication purposes.

You agree to use the service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for all content transmitted through the platform during your sessions.

Account Responsibilities

To host meetings, you must register for an account and verify your email address. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • All activities that occur under your account, whether authorised or not.
  • Notifying us immediately at support@screenchirp.com if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
  • Ensuring that all users you invite to your meetings comply with these terms.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that show signs of credential compromise or misuse.

Free vs Paid Tiers

Free Plan

Free plan users are restricted to 2 participants per meeting and a maximum duration of 20 minutes per session. These limits exist to maintain service quality for all users.

Paid Plans

Starter, Pro, and Enterprise plans unlock additional participants, extended durations, recording, and advanced features. Billing is processed monthly or annually as selected at checkout. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.

Plan Integrity

Attempting to bypass plan limits using multiple accounts, incognito browsing, VPN rotation, or IP manipulation constitutes a material breach of these terms and may result in immediate account suspension without refund.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use Screen Chirp to:

  • Transmit malware, ransomware, spyware, or any malicious code.
  • Engage in spam, phishing, or unsolicited bulk communications.
  • Conduct illegal surveillance, recording without consent, or privacy violations.
  • Harass, intimidate, or threaten other participants.
  • Violate any intellectual property rights of third parties.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the platform.
  • Resell or sublicense access to the platform without explicit written permission.

Limitation of Liability

Our services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Screen Chirp disclaims all warranties including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Screen Chirp will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability in connection with these terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars (USD $100).

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

If you object to any changes, you may close your account by contacting us at support@screenchirp.com.
